MOMOYAMA Ramen bar is a new Ukrainian start-up of a young and promising restaurateur Anna Kichtenko.
So the idea for the project was to create a cosy space with authentic notes of Japan, with a minimalistic but perfectly balanced menu and futuristic mood.
Interest of the project is also due to the fact, that these three elements had to be completely integrated into the room of the historical monument in the style of modernized neo-renaissance.
Ramen bar space is divided into four zones: open kitchen which is passing into the serving dishes zone bar rack with the awning made of plywood and perforated steel, replicating shapes of dumplings (literally Momoyama “ hill of dumplings”) lounge zone with a swing, nice and cosy sofas dance zone with a DJ place.
Collecting all the details it is possible to merge classic combination of red, white and black colours in the wall cladding author’s illustration and furniture, minimalistic lines of which are resembling the firm logo elements to preserve and carefully restore steel columns and wooden beams.
Particular attention deserves exclusively natural linen textiles. Japanese curtains playfully transform the space, allowing, if desired, to hide from prying eyes and enjoy the pleasure in seclusion.
Amber balls – handmade lights, created for the present project, envelope the space by mood of the land of the rising sun. Additional accent, which completes the image of light futuristic space, is LED RGB lines due to which the atmosphere is laced with bright dynamics of a modern city.
All the furniture, lights and textiles are developed specially for the present project and custom made using author’s drawings.
